Purchasing Internship

The Purchasing Intern will support the Purchasing team in daily operational and administrative activities, including purchase order tracking, supplier coordination, SAP data updating, reporting, and parts specification checking. This role provides hands-on exposure to purchasing processes in a manufacturing environment and requires strong attention to detail, good Excel skills, and the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Download the open purchase order report from both SAP and Ariba as the first task each working day.
2. Check pipe sets for every machine, prepare the Excel listing, and send the information to suppliers.
3. Support purchasers in updating purchasing and material information in SAP accurately and on time.
4. Prepare routine purchasing reports and summaries as required by the team or management.
5. Check parts specifications and support in confirming specifications for KANBAN parts.
6. Assist with other tasks or ad hoc assignments arranged by the manager.
7. participate in all purchasing related meetings provide meeting memo
8. Check material shortage status, give feedback to PIC

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Degree student in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic knowledge of SAP and/or Ariba is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Able to communicate clearly with internal teams and suppliers.
• Responsible, willing to learn, and able to handle routine tasks consistently.
