About the role

Konstruksi is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Purchasing Konstruksi to join our team in Bali. This is a full-time position that will be instrumental in managing our procurement operations and ensuring the efficient acquisition of materials and services essential to our construction projects. As Purchasing Konstruksi, you will play a critical role in optimising our supply chain, maintaining vendor relationships, and controlling costs whilst ensuring quality standards are met. This role offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on project timelines and overall business profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Sourcing and evaluating suppliers and vendors to identify the best value for materials and services required for construction projects
• Preparing and issuing purchase orders, ensuring accurate specifications, quantities, and delivery schedules are documented
• Negotiating contracts and pricing with suppliers to secure competitive rates whilst maintaining quality standards
• Managing inventory levels and monitoring stock to prevent shortages or excess stock that could impact project timelines or budgets
• Liaising with project managers and site teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules
• Tracking shipments and managing logistics to ensure timely delivery of materials to construction sites
• Resolving supplier issues, including quality complaints, delivery delays, and discrepancies in invoices
• Maintaining detailed records of purchases, vendor performance, and procurement costs
• Analysing spending patterns and identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in procurement activities

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably within the construction or manufacturing industry
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory control systems
• Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to secure competitive pricing without compromising quality
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing purchase orders and managing documentation
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
• Basic understanding of construction materials, equipment, and industry standards is advantageous
• Fluency in English and Indonesian is preferred; proficiency in both languages is a significant asset
