Purchasing Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily purchasing activities
• Develop purchasing strategies aligned with business and inventory requirements
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers
• Monitor product pricing, availability, lead times, and supplier performance
• Review purchase requests and ensure timely processing of purchase orders
• Coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, Finance, and other departments
• Monitor inventory levels and purchasing requirements to avoid overstocking or stock shortages
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms
• Analyze purchasing data, costs, and supplier performance
• Prepare purchasing reports and recommend cost-saving opportunities
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
• With experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management
• With supervisory or managerial experience is preferred
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, and decision-making skills
• Knowledgeable in inventory management, purchasing processes, and procurement practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Excellent communication and coordination skills
• Detail-oriented, organized, and results-driven
• Able to work with minimal supervision
• Willing to work 6 days a week
