Purchasing Manager

• Predict the level of demand for products
• Perform daily checks on stock levels
• Conduct research to ensure products from the best suppliers in terms of value, delivery schedule and quality
• Be a liaison between suppliers, manufacturers, relevant internal departments and customers
• Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing suppliers
• Negotiating and agreeing contracts, monitoring the quality of services provided
• Save the contract file and use it as a reference if needed
• Predict price trends and their impact on future activity
• Give presentations on market analysis and growth possibilities
• Develop purchasing strategy
• Generate reports and statistics using computer software
• Evaluate bids and make recommendations, based on commercial and technical factors

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Purchasing Manager, preferably within the automotive industry.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing automotive products, spare parts, accessories, or related components, preferably for European luxury car brands.

• Experience handling European cars and imported automotive products is highly preferred.

• Experienced in dealing with international suppliers, import processes, and overseas purchasing.

• Strong understanding of purchasing processes, supplier management, inventory control, and cost management.

• Bachelor Degree in any discipline

• Excellent written and verbal communication English skills.

• Accustomed to handling imported goods.

• Excellent negotiation skills.

• Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks, with awareness of deadlines.
