Purchasing Manager – Import & Local Purchasing

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to manage import and local purchasing activities, ensuring timely procurement, competitive pricing, and reliable suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage import and local purchasing activities from sourcing to delivery.

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with local and international suppliers.

Negotiate prices, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules.

Follow up on import orders, shipments, and required documentation.

Issue and monitor Purchase Orders and ensure timely delivery.

Coordinate with Finance, Warehouse, Logistics, and Operations.

Monitor supplier performance, costs, and quality.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and maintain efficient purchasing processes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, or related field.

7+ years of purchasing experience, including 3+ years in a managerial position.

Strong experience in Import & Local Purchasing.

Good knowledge of suppliers, procurement procedures, and import documentation.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Good command of English and MS Excel.

ERP experience is a plus.
