Purchasing Manager

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement corporate purchasing strategies aligned with the company’s business objectives, operational requirements, and cost targets.

• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and value optimization without compromising quality or service standards.

• Monitor market conditions, pricing trends, and availability of key commodities and services that may affect hotel operations.

• Oversee the end-to-end purchasing process, from sourcing and canvassing to supplier selection, purchase order issuance, delivery, and resolution of purchasing concerns.

• Monitor critical and recurring purchases to prevent supply disruptions that may affect hotel operations.

• Develop, evaluate, and maintain a reliable pool of accredited suppliers and service providers.

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, service levels, and other commercial conditions.

• Conduct price benchmarking and market checks for major and recurring purchases.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, Logistics, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in purchasing, procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably within the hospitality, hotel, resort, or service industry.
• Experience in managing centralized or multi-property procurement is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in supplier negotiation, contract management, cost optimization, and vendor performance management.
• Experience leading and developing a purchasing or procurement team.
