Purchasing Manager

📍 TYK Glass Co., Ltd. — Purchasing / Procurement

We're looking for a Purchasing Manager to own sourcing and material cost control for our largest cost component: raw glass and consumables. This is a judgment role, not an order-placing one — you'll be the commercial and risk gatekeeper of our inbound supply chain, making sure supply stays reliable, controlling source, and reducing risks.

What you'll own:

• Turning the material plan into on-time POs so the line never stops for a missing input
• Driving cost-down initiatives and protecting margin against raw-glass inflation
• Managing supplier performance through scorecards on delivery, quality, and lead time
• Coaching and developing a capable buying team with real commercial judgment
• Negotiate and manage with suppliers to deliver the material as planned.

What you'll bring:

• Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
• 5–10 years in manufacturing procurement, with 3+ years managing a team
• Direct-material / category sourcing and supplier development experience (required)
• Building materials or glass industry experience (strongly preferred)
• Strengths in strategic sourcing, negotiation, should-cost analysis, and supplier management
