Purchasing Manager

About the role

Plan, source, negotiate, and manage procurement of goods and services. Ensure cost-effectiveness, timely delivery, compliance, and reliable supplier partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Review Purchase Requests (PRs), plan sourcing, and issue approved Purchase Orders (POs)
• Source, evaluate, and accredit suppliers based on price, quality, reliability, and capacity
• Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery; prepare comparison reports
• Monitor supplier performance, deliveries, and resolve issues with warehouse and departments
• Ensure 100% compliance with policies, approvals, documentation, and process controls
• Maintain complete procurement records and update accredited supplier list
• Supervise procurement staff and coordinate with Operations, Finance, Engineering & branches
• Deliver cost savings and meet procurement KPIs

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years procurement/purchasing experience; managerial background preferred
• Experience in LPG, distribution, manufacturing, logistics or multi-branch operations is an advantage
• Strong negotiation, cost analysis, Excel, and supplier management skills
