Purchasing Manager

The Purchasing Manager leads the Company’s purchasing and procurement function by establishing sourcing, supplier management, cost control, and procurement governance practices that support the requirements of Elev8 Holdings Inc. and its operations. Oversees purchasing planning and execution, supplier selection and performance, negotiation, procurement controls, reporting, and team performance to ensure timely, cost-effective, compliant, and quality acquisition of goods and services. Provides management-level review and direction on significant procurement transactions, supplier risks, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead purchasing and procurement planning based on business and operational requirements.
• Develop and implement sourcing, purchasing, and supplier management strategies.
• Lead supplier sourcing, selection, accreditation, negotiation, and performance management.
• Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, service levels, and other supplier conditions.
• Oversee end-to-end purchasing activities, from request validation and sourcing to ordering and delivery monitoring.
• Monitor procurement costs, supplier performance, pending requirements, and transaction status.
• Ensure accurate and complete procurement records, contracts, supplier files, and documentation.
• Partner with different departments to understand specifications, budgets, priorities, and timelines.
• Identify procurement risks, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements.
• Lead and develop the purchasing/procurement team while ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
• Drive standardization, automation, and continuous improvement of procurement processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant purchasing/procurement experience, with supervisory or leadership exposure.
• Strong experience in supplier sourcing, negotiation, cost management, and vendor performance.
• Experience in reviewing and managing procurement transactions and supporting management decisions.
• Advanced knowledge of end-to-end procurement and purchasing management.
• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, supplier accreditation, cost analysis, and procurement controls.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and procurement tracking/reporting tools.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven.
• Ability to manage multiple suppliers, purchasing priorities, projects, and deadlines.
