Purchasing Manager

Judge Direct Placement is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead procurement and supplier management activities in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for sourcing materials and services, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring the timely, cost-effective delivery of goods that support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute purchasing strategies to support production and business goals.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Manage supplier relationships and evaluate performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material requirements with operations.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze market trends and mitigate supply chain risks.
• Lead and develop purchasing team members.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
