Purchasing Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the procurement and purchasing function.
• Develop procurement strategies based on project and business requirements.
• Source, evaluate and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors and service providers.
• Manage the full procurement process from sourcing and quotation evaluation to purchase orders and supplier performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Drive cost savings through competitive sourcing, negotiation and alternative solutions.
• Work closely with Project, QS, Operations, Finance and other departments to ensure timely procurement.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality, delivery and commercial terms.
• Improve procurement processes, controls and practices.
• Lead, coach and develop the procurement/purchasing team.
