Purchasing Manager

About the role

This role involves developing purchasing strategy and planning, sourcing and evaluating suppliers, and negotiating pricing, MOQ, payment terms, and lead times with both local and overseas suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop purchasing strategy and planning
• Conduct sourcing and supplier evaluation
• Negotiate pricing, MOQ, payment terms, and lead time
• Establish communication with local and overseas suppliers
• Ensure availability of goods according to company requirements
• Control purchase price, quality, and delivery accuracy
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Sales, Finance, and related divisions
• Create supplier evaluation and purchasing reports

About you

• Minimum S1 education from any major
• Minimum 3 years experience as Purchasing Manager or equivalent position
• Must be able to communicate in Mandarin Chinese, both spoken and written
• Experience in sourcing and negotiation with suppliers
• Experience in purchasing from China or overseas suppliers is preferred
• Understanding of purchasing processes, import, costing, lead time, and inventory planning
• Strong negotiation, price analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Able to lead and manage purchasing team
• Detail-oriented, assertive, communicative, and able to work with targets
