Purchasing Manager

We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to lead our purchasing department. You will manage our global supplier network and a team of purchasing administrators

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the purchasing administration team.
• Manage the full purchasing cycle: supplier contact, purchase order processing and order follow-up.
• Negotiate prices and commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Survey the market continuously to identify and qualify new suppliers within the fine chemicals sector.
• Manage import logistics, including hazardous goods shipments.
• Make sure suppliers meet our specifications and quality assurance requirements.
• Run the annual supplier evaluation.
• Support the Sales Managers in their day-to-day operations.
• Ensure compliance with waste management regulations and good environmental practices.

What We Are Looking For

• A degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, International Trade or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, ideally in the chemical, pharmaceutical or life science industry.
• Knowledge of the chemical market, ideally fine chemicals.
• Proven team management experience.
• Knowledge of shipping regulations, especially for hazardous goods.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish.
