The Opportunity

Join our dynamic team and contribute to our continued success as a Purchasing Manager through effective procurement management and supplier relationship building.

As a Purchasing Manager, you will be overseeing procurement operations, purchasing activities, managing resources, optimizing supply chain operations, and ensuring compliance with organizational goals.

This role offers a strong leadership experience, exposure to large-scale diverse operations and clear career progression opportunities.

The Perfect Fit

To be considered for the role, the ideal candidate will:

• Be willing to relocate to work in Dili, Timor-Leste
• Possess 3+ years of experience in managerial or supervisory experience leading a procurement team, sourcing, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract management and handling international procurement.
• Possess a bachelor's degree (or higher) in Business Administration or a related field
• Strong background in the construction industry and hardware/building materials procurement.
• Experience coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and government authorities.
• Demonstrated ability to manage procurement budgets, control costs, and achieve savings targets.
• Possess excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess market trends, supplier performance, and identify potential suppliers.
• Be proficient in Microsoft office and good with numbers
• Have experience in supply chain management and inventory management
• Be able to communicate professionally and effectively in written and spoken English and Mandarin.
