Purchasing Manager - Turkish Speaker

A leading hospitality entity is looking to hire an experienced Purchasing Manager to join its team in UAE.

About the Role

The Purchasing Manager will oversee procurement, supplier management, receiving and inventory processes, ensuring all purchasing activities are cost-effective, efficient and aligned with the company’s operational and financial standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality procurement, with experience across restaurants, hotels or hospitality groups. The role requires strong supplier relationships, commercial awareness and excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities in line with company policies and approved procedures
• Maintain and develop relationships with approved suppliers and identify new sourcing opportunities
• Source products, negotiate pricing and commercial terms, and monitor market trends
• Process purchasing requests and market lists from operational departments
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of products, pricing and quotations
• Monitor purchasing against approved budgets and obtain the necessary approvals for out-of-budget requirements
• Oversee receiving processes and ensure deliveries meet required quality, quantity and specification standards
• Monitor outstanding deliveries and coordinate with suppliers and internal departments
• Track supplier price changes and identify opportunities for cost savings and improved commercial terms
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, invoices and supporting documentation
• Support inventory management, stock checks and investigation of variances
• Ensure purchasing and inventory systems are accurately maintained and updated
• Work closely with Finance and operational teams to maintain effective cost control and transparent procurement processes
• Support the development and implementation of purchasing procedures and best practices
• Maintain strong awareness of market conditions, supplier availability and product pricing

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager, Procurement Manager or similar role within hospitality
• Previous experience within a restaurant, hotel, hospitality group or similar high-end hospitality environment is strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of hospitality purchasing, procurement, supplier management and inventory processes
• Proven experience negotiating with suppliers and managing commercial relationships
• Strong understanding of F&B products and hospitality supply chains
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in purchasing, procurement or inventory management systems
• Strong financial awareness and experience working with budgets and cost control
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation abilities
• Fluent in English and Turkish
• UAE hospitality experience is preferred
