Purchasing (Mandarin)

• Manage the purchasing process, including supplier sourcing, quotation, price comparison, negotiation, PO, and delivery monitoring.
• Source, evaluate, and maintain relationships with suppliers based on price, quality, lead time, and service.
• Negotiate prices and purchasing terms to achieve competitive costs.
• Communicate with Mandarin-speaking suppliers, business partners, and internal stakeholders regarding orders, pricing, delivery, and other purchasing matters.
• Monitor purchase orders and ensure goods/services are delivered according to specifications, quantity, quality, and timeline.
• Coordinate with Finance, Warehouse, Operations, and related departments to ensure smooth purchasing processes.
• Maintain purchasing documents and supplier records, and prepare regular purchasing reports.
• Monitor purchasing costs and support cost-saving and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement, preferably in retail or related industries.
• Fluent in Mandarin, both verbal and written.
• Experience dealing with Mandarin-speaking suppliers or business partners is preferred.
• Good understanding of purchasing processes, supplier management, and negotiation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP/purchasing systems is a plus.
• Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
