Purchasing Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Purchasing Officer to manage suppliers, oversee shipments, prepare sales reports, and review order plans. We invite highly qualified candidates to apply.

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete purchasing process, including issuing purchase orders, checking stock availability, monitoring order and shipment statuses, and preparing shipping documentation.
• Maintain regular communication with suppliers and shipping companies for daily operations.
• Prepare sales reports, review order plans, and monitor sales volumes to identify fast-moving items, stock shortages, and slow-moving items.
• Enter data into the ERP system, including product information, purchase orders, and status updates.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team on delivery schedules and product information updates.
• Work with the accounts department to facilitate LC and TT payments to suppliers.

Requirements:

• Diploma or higher in a business-related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant purchasing experience within the construction materials industry.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
• Well-organized with attention to detail.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
