About the role

Purchasing Officer responsible for procurement of raw materials and goods, coordinating with relevant departments, issuing purchase orders to external and affiliated companies, and managing supplier relationships for a Thai food export company.

Key responsibilities

• Procure raw materials and goods, coordinate with relevant departments, and issue purchase orders to external and affiliated companies
• Track goods that are not delivered on schedule or have issues
• Plan procurement of goods with specified delivery timelines to ensure timely delivery to customers
• Plan procurement to obtain discounts or lower prices
• Coordinate with suppliers to request quotations for current price updates and record purchase price data (pricing policy) in the system
• Manage, control, and determine allocation of goods, including stock and goods with sales order changes
• Contact and negotiate with suppliers for new goods regarding price and purchase conditions for sales support
• Conduct annual supplier performance evaluations according to control systems
• Collect, maintain, and update supplier lists
• Perform other assigned tasks

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field
• Minimum 2-3 years of procurement experience (recent graduates interested in developing procurement skills will be considered)
• Experience in raw material/goods procurement, PO issuance, and supplier coordination is highly valued
• Experience in Purchase Planning, Delivery Tracking, or Stock Management is highly valued
• Experience in Quotation, Price Negotiation, and Supplier Management is highly valued
• Able to coordinate effectively with Sales, Sales Support, Warehouse, Logistics, Supplier, and related departments
