Purchasing Officer

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage sourcing of food, non-food and F&B equipment.

• Monitor daily operation and collaborate with internal teams to understand their purchasing needs.

• Maintain the purchasing database and inventory records are up-to-date and accurate.

• Develop supplier network and long-term partnership.

• Conduct supplier performance review, factory audit and quality check.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize the purchasing process.

• Involve and take lead in price negotiation and seek for optimal offers and services.

• Prepare regular purchase reports and analyses for management review.

• Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Diploma graduate or above in Business Administration, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or related discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years’ of purchasing experience in F&B and catering industry. Working experience in restaurant chains is a plus.

• Proven track record in sourcing and negotiating for food and non-food items, service contracts and F&B equipment.

• Possess good negotiation and communication skills.

• Good problem-solving abilities, proactive, detail-minded, well organized, hardworking and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and Chinese word processing; experience with ERP systems is a plus.

• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
