Responsibilities of a Purchasing Officer

1. Identify Purchasing Needs: Monitor the requirements of showrooms and tailoring workshops for fabrics, perfumes, oud, products, and production materials.

2. Monitor Inventory Levels: Review stock availability and identify fast-moving, slow-moving, and out-of-stock items before placing orders.

3. Supplier Management: Identify reliable suppliers and compare prices, product quality, and delivery terms.

4. Price Negotiation: Negotiate competitive purchasing prices and payment terms while maintaining product quality.

5. Purchase Order Management: Prepare purchase requests, obtain management approvals, issue purchase orders, and follow up on their execution.

6. Delivery Follow-Up: Ensure timely delivery of purchased goods to prevent stock shortages and production delays.

7. Quality Control: Verify that received products meet the approved specifications, quantities, and quality standards.

8. Sales and Purchasing Analysis: Analyze sales performance and product demand to determine appropriate reorder quantities and purchasing priorities.

9. Cost Control and Budget Management: Monitor purchasing expenses, minimize waste and dead stock, and maintain profitability within approved budgets.

10. Management Reporting: Prepare regular reports on purchases, suppliers, stock shortages, costs, pending orders, and recommendations for improvement.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
