Purchasing Officer (Personal Care Manufacturing)

Our client is a leading contract manufacturer of household and personal care products in Thailand.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including RFQ preparation, quotation analysis, and Purchase Order (PO) issuance for assigned categories.
• Handle Procure-to-Pay (P2P) transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the most competitive pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Source, evaluate, and develop new suppliers to improve procurement performance and optimize costs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Production, and Engineering, to support purchasing requirements.
• Manage supplier contracts, documentation, and compliance with procurement policies and agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of procurement or purchasing experience, preferably within FMCG, chemical, pharmaceutical, or related manufacturing industries.
• Experience sourcing packaging materials and/or raw materials.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement processes.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
