Purchasing / Procurement Assistant

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.

Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) accurately and ensure timely processing.

Follow up with suppliers on order status and delivery schedules to ensure materials arrive on time.

Procure goods, materials, equipment, and services required to support the company's operational and business    needs in accordance with company procurement policies and procedures.

Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers to achieve cost-effective purchasing.

Coordinate closely with all departments to ensure purchasing requirements are met.

Monitor inventory levels and arrange replenishment to avoid stock shortages.

Ensure all purchased items meet the required specifications and quality standards.

Resolve issues related to delivery delays, damaged goods, incorrect items, or supplier performance.

Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier databases, quotations, purchase orders, invoices, and    related documents.

Assist in evaluating supplier performance and identifying new suppliers to improve cost, quality, and service.     12. Ensure purchasing activities comply with company policies, procedures, and ISO quality requirements.

Prepare purchasing reports and assist in cost-saving initiatives.

Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
