Purchasing / Procurement Staff

Job Summary:

Performs procurement of materials to support production schedule.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Analyze Purchase Requisitions and Releases Purchase Orders.
• Creates Delivery Schedule and send to suppliers for delivery reference.
• Checks and compares Invoice and Packing List with the Purchase Order.
• Provides material delivery update to Production Planning.
• Follow up shipping documents from suppliers and process with ImpEx Section.
• Process payment of received Invoices to Accounting Section.
• Follow-up delivery of materials and documents to meet production schedule and customer expectation.
• Analyzes inventory and negotiate cancellation of Purchase Orders when necessary
• Monitors, checks and update material prices in system.
• Interacts with concern sections/departments on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding material procurement and additional information as requested by Planning and Sales department.
• May be asked to perform other duties at a lower level or higher level of proficiency.
