Purchasing Specialist

About the role

Responsible for the management and execution of procurement activities for transformer products, ensuring the smooth operation of the procurement process.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and implement the company's procurement strategies and plans to ensure effective control of procurement budgets and requirements
• Conduct market research, collect supplier information, draft procurement contracts, and coordinate with suppliers to complete procurement tasks
• Participate in the selection and evaluation of procurement projects, as well as bidding, inquiry, and pricing processes, to ensure the quality and progress of procurement projects
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure the normal execution and efficient implementation of procurement activities
• Manage full-process control of supplier deliveries, including contract signing and execution tracking, contract amendments, and handling of delivery anomalies

About you

• Full-time bachelor's degree or above
• Experience in procurement management in large-scale manufacturing is required
• Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain management are preferred
• Fluent in Chinese, English, and Malay
• Familiar with procurement processes and methods
• Strong supply chain management and procurement negotiation skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, adept at coordinating work across internal departments
• Strong numerical processing and data analysis skills, capable of analyzing and optimizing procurement data
