Purchasing Specialist Responsibilities

• Execute procurement strategies for assigned categories.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring performance in quality, delivery, and cost.
• Conduct negotiations to optimize contracts and reduce costs.
• Monitor categories spend and identify opportunities for improvements.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
• Support initiatives for supplier innovation and risk assessment.
• Analyze procurement data to identify trends and improvements.
• Assist in developing category plans with senior leadership.
• Implement process improvements to streamline procurement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for category alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in category management or procurement.
• Knowledge of contract negotiation and supplier performance metrics.
• Strong analytical and project management skills.
• Familiarity with procurement tools and data management software.
• Experience with Direct and Indirect Materials
