Location: Milford, CT

A small manufacturer in Milford is seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist to support daily procurement needs and keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Purchase materials, components, and supplies for manufacturing operations
• Source items based on production needs
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate pricing, quality, and delivery
• Monitor inventory levels and support inventory control efforts
• Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, and internal teams
• Ensure purchased materials meet quality standards

Qualifications:

• Prior purchasing/procurement experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience with supplier management and inventory control
• Cost-conscious with sound decision-making skills
