Purchasing Staf

About the role

A Purchasing Staff role responsible for managing the procurement process, including supplier identification, quotation requests, price negotiation, purchase order creation, and delivery monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Search for and identify suppliers
• Request quotations from suppliers
• Negotiate prices with suppliers
• Create and manage purchase orders (PO)
• Monitor and track delivery of goods
• Compare prices, quality, and lead times from multiple suppliers
• Maintain and archive procurement documents
• Communicate and negotiate effectively with suppliers
• Solve procurement-related problems

About you

• Minimum D3/S1 education, preferably in Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 1 year of work experience in Purchasing/Procurement
• Understanding of the complete purchasing process from supplier search to delivery monitoring
• Good communication and negotiation skills with suppliers
• Ability to compare prices, quality, and lead times from multiple suppliers
• Detail-oriented, disciplined, and responsible
• Able to work to targets and deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Good administrative and document filing skills
• Able to work individually and in teams
• Good problem-solving skills
• Experience with ERP/purchasing systems is a plus
• Understanding of inventory processes is a plus
• Existing supplier network is a plus
