Purchasing Staff

Job Summary

Support the Purchasing Department by processing purchase requests, sourcing suppliers, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining procurement records. The role ensures the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials, supplies, and services needed for construction projects and company operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Purchase Requests (PRs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and Purchase Orders (POs).
• Source suppliers and obtain competitive quotations.
• Coordinate with vendors on orders, deliveries, and documentation.
• Monitor purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain supplier records and procurement documentation.
• Coordinate with project teams and other departments on purchasing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager or Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, preferably in the construction or real estate industry.
• Familiarity with construction materials, suppliers, and procurement processes is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Experience with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, coordination, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
