About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Purchasing Staff member to join our procurement team in Davao del Sur, Davao on a full-time basis. This is a key position that plays a vital role in supporting our purchasing and procurement operations. As Purchasing Staff, you will be responsible for managing supplier interactions, processing purchase orders, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials and inventory throughout our organisation. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency of our supply chain and the overall success of GOTESCO MARKETING, INC.

Key responsibilities

• Processing and managing purchase orders from requisition through to delivery and invoice reconciliation
• Maintaining accurate records of all purchasing transactions and inventory movements
• Communicating with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery schedules, and resolve any supply issues
• Assisting with price comparisons and supplier quotations to ensure cost-effective procurement
• Monitoring stock levels and flagging low inventory to support timely reordering
• Verifying received goods against purchase orders and delivery documentation
• Maintaining organised filing systems and databases for purchasing records and supplier information
• Supporting the purchasing team with administrative tasks and general office duties
• Assisting in the development and maintenance of supplier relationships
• Responding to queries and providing support to internal departments regarding procurement matters

What we're looking for

• College Graduate of Bachelor of Science is Business Administration-Acctg, Marketing or Management or any business related course.
• Proven experience in a purchasing, procurement, or inventory management role
• Strong organizational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping
• Proficiency in using computer systems and Microsoft Office applications
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Familiarity with procurement software or inventory management systems (preferred)
• Knowledge of basic supply chain principles (preferred)
• Customer service orientation and problem-solving mindset
