About the role
Staff Purchasing role involving communication and coordination with suppliers, particularly vendors from China, to support procurement operations.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct communication and coordination with suppliers, especially China vendors
- Request and compare quotations
- Negotiate prices and purchase terms
- Create and monitor purchase orders
- Follow up on orders and delivery schedules
- Maintain good relationships with suppliers
About you
- Minimum D3/S1 qualification in relevant field
- Purchasing/Procurement experience is a plus
- Experienced in communicating with vendors/suppliers from China
- Active English proficiency in speaking and writing
- Mandarin language is a plus
- Able to negotiate and follow up with suppliers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Meticulous, communicative, proactive, and responsible
