About the role

Purchasing Staff for 18 DEGREES AIR COOLING SOLUTIONS INC., a leading provider of air conditioning solutions for both residential and commercial properties. The role involves managing procurement activities, supplier relationships, and inventory coordination to support the company's operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure the availability of necessary materials
• Source and negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best quality products at the most competitive prices
• Review and process purchase orders from various departments within the company
• Communicate with vendors to resolve any issues or delays in delivery
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to schedule and coordinate deliveries
• Keep track of purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and lead times
• Continuously review and improve procurement and supply chain processes
• Stay up to date on industry trends and market changes to make informed purchasing decisions
• Assist in special projects and perform other duties as assigned by the manager

About you

• Bachelor's Degree of Business Administration (Operations Management, Financial Management, Marketing Management), BS in Supply Chain Management, and other business-related college degrees
• Minimum of 1 year experience in purchasing or supply chain management
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management principles
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of inventory management systems is a plus
