Purchasing Staff

About the role

Responsible for the procurement of all casing materials required for production. This role involves sourcing and evaluating suppliers, preparing and issuing purchase orders, and negotiating pricing and terms to ensure cost-effective purchasing. The position ensures that all casings meet quality standards and are delivered on time through close coordination with suppliers, logistics, and warehouse teams. It also handles supplier accreditation, maintains accurate purchasing records, and resolves any supplier or product-related issues to support uninterrupted production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders for all casing requirements
• Evaluate and compare supplier quotations to ensure cost-effective options
• Ensure all purchased casings meet required quality standards
• Coordinate with delivery and warehouse teams to guarantee timely receipt of goods
• Handle claims and concerns related to casing suppliers
• Process MPRs (Material Purchase Requisitions) for all casing types requested by different departments
• Source potential casing products and vendors, and assess pricing and quality
• Identify and evaluate potential vendors for casing materials
• Manage supplier accreditation for new casing vendors, including completion of VIS forms
• Negotiate supplier contracts, pricing, credit terms, and credit limit extensions
