PURCHASING STAFF

Job Responsibilities:

·         Performs canvassing of requested items from the Production Departments and other departments and seeks approval from the Purchasing Manager for the "best" suppliers in accordance with the Company's guidelines.

·         Sources qualified suppliers and obtains competitive quotations.

·         Ensures that purchased materials comply with company specifications.

·         Accomplishes Purchase Orders (POs).

·         Performs other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Purchasing Head.

Job Requirements:

·         High level of integrity, attention to detail, hardworking, and organized.

·         Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Accountancy, or a related field.

·         With at least 3 to 5 years of work experience in the same position. Preferably in a FMCG or Food Manufacturing Company.

·         Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel is required.

·         Experience in cost analysis, vendor accreditation and sourcing strategies preferred.

·         Ability to work with minimal supervision.

·         Excellent negotiation skills, analytical and problem-solving skills.

·         Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.

·         Having a valid driver’s license is an advantage

·         Must be willing to work in Makati City.
