Purchasing Staff

What you'll be doing

• Researching and identifying reliable suppliers to meet our procurement needs
• Negotiating competitive prices and favorable terms with suppliers
• Placing and tracking purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Maintaining accurate records of all procurement activities and expenses
• Collaborating with production and inventory management teams to optimize purchasing decisions
• Identifying opportunities to improve procurement processes and drive cost savings
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures related to purchasing

What we're looking for

• Having experience in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably in the manufacturing or logistics industry, is an advantage, but those without experience are also welcome to join.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively liaise with suppliers
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to make informed purchasing decisions
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools to streamline processes
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities
• A graduate of any 4-year course.
• Know how to drive (AT)
