Purchasing Staff

Duties and Responsibilities

• Purchase office supplies, equipment, materials, and other items needed by the company
• Receive and process purchase requests from different departments
• Search for suppliers and stores that offer the required items
• Compare prices and product options before making purchases
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding product availability, prices, and delivery schedules
• Place orders and ensure that requested items are purchased on time
• Follow up on deliveries and make sure orders are complete and correct
• Check purchased items for quantity, quality, and condition
• Keep receipts, purchase orders, quotations, and other purchasing documents organized
• Monitor frequently used supplies and arrange reorders when necessary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or college graduate, preferably in Business Administration or a related field
• Experience in purchasing, procurement, or a similar position is an advantage
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
• Organized, detail-oriented, and responsible
• Able to compare prices and choose cost-effective options
• Good time-management and coordination skills
• Willing to communicate and negotiate with suppliers
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
