Purchasing staff

About the role

Purchasing Staff member to join the supply chain team at Sec Bowl, a growing F&B brand running a central kitchen and warehouse that supplies outlets in Jakarta and other cities. Reliable purchasing keeps kitchens stocked, costs under control, and outlets running without interruption.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process purchase orders for raw materials, packaging, and operational supplies based on stock levels and production needs
• Source and compare suppliers on price, quality, lead time, and reliability
• Request quotations, negotiate prices and terms, and keep supplier price lists up to date
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery and flag potential shortages early
• Coordinate with Warehouse, PPIC, and Finance on stock availability, goods receipts, and invoice matching
• Resolve delivery issues such as quantity shortfalls, quality rejections, and returns
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, supplier data, and PO status reports
• Support supplier evaluation and help identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency
• Assist in maintaining supply continuity, including backup supplier options for critical items

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
• 1-2 years of purchasing or procurement experience (fresh graduates with strong potential are welcome to apply)
• Experience in F&B, food manufacturing, or retail is a strong plus
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP or inventory systems is a plus
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple orders and deadlines
• Comfortable working with fresh and perishable goods, and cold chain requirements
• Willing to work onsite in Jakarta
