- Coordinate receiving and inspection — Verify that delivered items match the order’s quantity, specifications, and condition.
- Resolve purchasing issues — Handle missing items, incorrect deliveries, damaged goods, returns, and replacements.
- Coordinate payments — Submit and verify purchase orders, delivery receipts, and invoices with accounting.
- Maintain purchasing records — Keep supplier details, quotations, purchase orders, and transaction records organized.
- Support inventory planning — Coordinate with warehouse and sales teams to maintain sufficient stock and avoid overstocking.
- Follow company policies — Work within approved budgets, obtain required approvals, and maintain fair supplier dealings.
