Purchasing Staff – Construction Materials

This is an entry-level position. Candidates with at least 1 year of purchasing experience are preferred, particularly those with experience in a construction company, contractor, engineering firm, hardware, or building materials supplier.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Management, or a related field

• Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may apply

• At least 1 year of purchasing experience is preferred

• Experience in construction purchasing or procurement is highly preferred

• Experience purchasing construction materials, building materials, hardware, tools, or project supplies is an advantage

• Familiarity with Purchase Orders, quotations, canvassing, delivery receipts, and supplier coordination

• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office

• Willing to learn and handle construction-related purchasing requirements

• Willing to work on-site in Quezon City

• Willing to work Monday to Saturday

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in purchasing construction materials and supplies
• Prepare and monitor Purchase Orders (POs)
• Request and compare supplier quotations
• Canvass prices and source available materials from suppliers
• Coordinate with suppliers regarding prices, availability, orders, and delivery schedules
• Monitor the delivery of purchased materials and supplies
• Coordinate with project/site personnel regarding material requirements
• Assist in monitoring inventory and material requirements
• Check delivery receipts, invoices, and other purchasing documents
• Maintain organized purchasing and supplier records
• Assist in sourcing and coordinating with reliable suppliers
• Follow up pending orders and deliveries
• Assist with supplier concerns and delivery discrepancies
• Perform other purchasing-related tasks as assigned
