Purchasing Supervisor

We are looking for an experienced Purchasing Supervisor to oversee the company's procurement operations and ensure the timely acquisition of quality materials at competitive prices. The ideal candidate has strong negotiation skills, extensive supplier management experience, and a solid background in manufacturing procurement.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing policies and procedures to improve cost efficiency, quality, and delivery performance.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, payment terms, and lead times with suppliers.
• Source and procure raw materials, components, equipment, and other operational requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and establish long-term partnerships with reliable vendors.
• Analyze market trends, pricing, and procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with Production, Warehouse, Engineering, and other departments to ensure procurement supports operational needs.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent shortages and production delays.
• Resolve supply chain issues and implement strategies to minimize procurement risks.
• Prepare procurement reports, supplier evaluations, and purchasing performance analyses for management.
• Supervise and mentor purchasing staff while promoting continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in a manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in supplier sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel).
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Willing to work onsite in Malinta, Valenzuela City.
