PURCHASING SUPERVISOR

About the role

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Purchasing Supervisor to join HOBS International Group Co., Ltd. in Bangkok. This is a full-time position based in Phaya Thai, Bangkok, offering an exciting opportunity to take a supervisory role within our dynamic purchasing department. As Purchasing Supervisor, you will oversee procurement operations, manage supplier relationships, and ensure efficient purchasing processes that support our retail and consumer products operations. This role is integral to our supply chain success and directly impacts our ability to deliver quality products to our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Supervise and coordinate daily purchasing activities, ensuring all orders are processed accurately and efficiently
• Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure the best value for the company
• Monitor inventory levels and procurement timelines to ensure optimal stock availability
• Review and approve purchase orders, invoices, and documentation to maintain accuracy and compliance
• Analyse purchasing data and market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve procurement efficiency
• Train, mentor and support purchasing team members, providing guidance on best practices and company procedures
• Liaise with other departments including operations, finance and sales to understand purchasing requirements
• Maintain detailed records and generate purchasing reports for management review
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and ethical sourcing standards

What we're looking for

• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain roles
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management and purchasing best practices within retail or consumer products
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favourable terms and maintain positive supplier relationships
• Proficiency in purchasing systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and make informed purchasing decisions
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with attention to detail and accuracy
• Proven leadership ability and experience managing and developing team members
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred
