Purchasing Supervisor

• Supervise the Purchasing Department and daily procurement activities.
• Review purchase requests and ensure timely procurement of materials and supplies.
• Source, evaluate, and manage reliable suppliers.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Request and compare supplier quotations.
• Prepare and monitor Purchase Orders and purchasing documents.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments regarding orders and deliveries.
• Monitor supplier performance, inventory levels, and material availability.
• Ensure purchased materials meet required quality and specifications.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier information.
• Monitor purchasing costs and prepare procurement reports.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
• Train and guide purchasing staff.
• Perform other related duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, or related field.
• 2–3 years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Manufacturing or production purchasing experience is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and supplier management skills.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures and inventory management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office/Excel; ERP or SAP experience is an advantage.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
