Purchasing Supervisor

About Us

We are a fast-growing lighting solutions company specializing in retail stores, commercial projects, and customized lighting products. We are looking for an experienced Procurement Supervisor to strengthen our supply chain, manage suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality lighting products.

Job Responsibilities

• Source and develop reliable local and overseas suppliers.
• Purchase lighting products, electrical materials, and related accessories for retail projects.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and supplier contracts.
• Compare quotations and conduct cost analysis to achieve the best purchasing value.
• Monitor supplier performance, product quality, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate closely with the Sales, Project, Warehouse, and Finance teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Follow up on production schedules, shipments, and import documentation when necessary.
• Resolve purchasing issues such as delays, shortages, quality problems, and supplier claims.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and supplier databases.
• Continuously improve procurement processes and reduce purchasing costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience , preferably in the lighting, electrical, construction materials, interior fit-out, or retail store industry.
• Strong knowledge of lighting products, electrical materials, or commercial building materials is highly preferred.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Strong analytical and cost control abilities.
• Familiar with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (both spoken and written). Chinese language ability is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience purchasing products from overseas suppliers.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures and international logistics.
• Experience in retail store fit-out or commercial project procurement.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
