Purchasing Supervisor

Purchasing Supervisor manages the procurement of building materials, heavy equipment, tools, and subcontractor services for construction projects. They lead the buying team to make sure site operations run smoothly, stay on budget, and get deliveries on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Management: Supervise daily purchasing activities and guide the local procurement staff.
• Sourcing and Negotiating: Find reliable suppliers for construction materials, compare bids, and negotiate contract pricing and terms.
• Budget Alignment: Ensure all material purchases match approved project budgets and technical specifications.
• Order Tracking: Monitor shipments to guarantee timely delivery to project sites and prevent work delays.
• Record Keeping: Prepare procurement reports, manage inventory logs, and maintain accurate vendor files.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of working experience in purchasing or supply chain operations, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role within the construction or property development sector.
• Skills: Strong negotiation, supplier relationship management, and data analysis skills.
• Software Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and standard enterprise resource planning (ERP) or inventory management software.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
