PURCHASING SUPERVISOR

About the role

A well established electronic and electrical manufacturer with headquarter in Hong Kong and manufacturing plant in China Zhu hai is seeking a Purchasing Supervisor to assist the manager in executing local sourcing strategy that aligns with corporate objectives, identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the manager to execute a local sourcing strategy that aligns with corporate objectives
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to establish a diversified supplier network
• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure competitive procurement while maintaining quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to support product development and production needs
• Help the manager to monitor supplier performance, and lead the team to drive continuous improvement
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers while ensuring ethical sourcing practices

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing and procurement within the electronic industry
• Proven experience in sourcing, with a strong understanding of geopolitical factors affecting supply chains
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Experience with supplier performance management and risk assessment
• Experience in electrical shaver component sourcing is preferred
• Excellent spoken & written in English, good in Cantonese and Mandarin
• Stationary to work in China factory (Zhu hai)
• 5 days work
