: Purchasing Supervisor / Store Supervisor

About the role

This role will play an important part in ensuring that all hotel supplies, equipment, food and beverage products, operating supplies, and other materials are properly received, stored, recorded, and issued to the departments on time. You will supervise daily purchasing coordination, receiving, storage, and issuing of hotel supplies at an internationally branded hotel in Jomtien, Pattaya, as part of the pre-opening team.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily purchasing coordination, receiving, storage, and issuing of hotel supplies on Pre-opening process.
• Receive and inspect deliveries to ensure quantity, quality, specifications, and condition meet purchase orders and agreed standards.
• Check all deliveries against Purchase Orders (PO), delivery notes, and invoices.
• Maintain accurate receiving and inventory records in the hotel's purchasing or inventory system.
• Organize and maintain storerooms according to proper storage, hygiene, safety, and security standards.
• Issue food, beverage, housekeeping, engineering, and general operating supplies to departments based on approved requisitions.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure appropriate minimum and maximum inventory levels are maintained.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and investigate discrepancies.
• Apply FIFO / FEFO principles where applicable, particularly for food, beverage, and other perishable items.
• Monitor expiry dates, damaged goods, slow-moving items, and potential wastage.

About you

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in hotel purchasing, receiving, stores, or inventory control.
• Previous experience in an international hotel is highly preferred.
• Pre-opening hotel experience is an advantage.
• Good understanding of hotel purchasing, receiving, and inventory procedures.
• Experience handling food, beverage, housekeeping, engineering, and general operating supplies.
• Good knowledge of inventory systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational and numerical skills.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good command of Thai and basic to good English.
