The Position: We are seeking a highly motivated self-starter to join our team to process customer purchase orders and monitor back order workflow. This position requires critical thinking skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Supply chain/wholesale purchasing experience is preferred. This is a great opportunity with potential for growth!

Job Responsibilities For Purchasing/Expeditor Associate:

Primary Tasks:

· Communicate with sales team to understand customer requirements

· Analyze incoming customer purchase orders, build timely invoices, and complete order processing

· Communicate with suppliers to obtain pricing & delivery times for items not currently in stock

· Communicate with customers regarding order confirmation, delivery schedules, and issue resolutions.

· Place vendor orders and maintain back order reports.

· Respond to customer inquiries as needed

· Maintain accurate historical records of all purchase orders received

Secondary Tasks:

· Our team shares Office Administrator duties. You will be expected to assist with one or more of the following:

• Answering phones
• Order Office Supplies and Monitor Inventory
• Order Promotional Materials
• Assist on Special Projects
• Other Duties as Assigned

Skill Requirements For Purchasing/Expeditor Associate:

• Critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills
• Strong attention to detail, multitasking & organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Supply chain/Wholesale experiences is greatly preferred.
• Quick learner with desire to proactively seek logical solutions to problems
• Excellent interpersonal communication, both written and verbal
• Teamwork and collaboration to achieve common goals in various departments
• Associates/Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• Microsoft Office proficient
• Bilingual (Spanish) a plus but not required.
