Purchasing/Matrix Manager

F.W. Webb, Northeast’s largest wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, HVAC and industrial supplies is seeking a full-time Purchasing/Matrix Manager for its Amherst, NY location.

Responsibilities:

• Enter price updates into WMS
• Work with Product Managers on obtaining correct pricing information
• Collaborate with Data Governance to make sure accurate product data is loaded in the system
• Investigate pricing discrepancies
• Work with AP to resolve invoice discrepancies
• Provides purchasing planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Obtains purchased items by forwarding orders to suppliers; monitoring and expediting orders.
• Adjust minimum and maximum stocking levels based on demands
• Prepares purchase orders by verifying specifications and price
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Problem solving and reconciliation skills necessary
• Ability to multi-task, must be strong with details and possess strong organizational skills.
• Work proficiently with minimal supervision and be able to provide feedback on systems/processes.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office required specifically Excel and VLOOKUP function

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
