Purchasing/Procurement Assistant

JOB SUMMARY:

Successful candidates will closely monitor the timely placement of purchase orders and delivery of materials to meet internal customer orders and requirements.

Sources out quality suppliers and negotiate on quality, price, terms and conditions, delivery, and service. Maintains, coordinates, and ensures on-time delivery of items and delivery from suppliers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's / College Degree with Technical Background.
• At least 6 months to 1-year working experience in the same field.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management
• Very good in negotiation and possess analytical skills
• Background in Security Systems is an advantage
• Innovative and team player
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Ability to perform proper time management

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provision of adequate office space, including parking, storage, and records keeping
• Requisitioning for required supplies, equipment, etc.
• Coordinating the provision of all office equipment with the IT Department
• Assist in Ensuring the availability of adequate photocopying, and printing services
• Responsible for the repair and maintenance of all vehicles, trucks, and motorcycles
• Maintain proper records of all company assets and their accountability
• Responsible for the repair and maintenance of company assets (air conditioning, emergency lights, generator, fire extinguishers, pest control
• Monitor, log and issue gate passes for all outgoing company assets and documents
• Will handle the preparation of documents in connection with processing the local purchases of the company.
• Shall assist in the processing of purchase requisitions from different departments, which includes canvassing to the final purchase of request.
