Purchasing/Procurements Staff

About the role

The Purchasing role is responsible for procuring food products, packaging materials, warehouse supplies, and other operational requirements at the best quality, price, and delivery terms. The position supports warehouse operations by maintaining adequate inventory levels, sourcing reliable suppliers, monitoring purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO)
• Send orders to suppliers
• Monitor purchase orders from placement to delivery
• Follow up on deliveries and resolve delays
• Coordinate with warehouse and other departments
• Evaluate complete and correct deliveries
• Check Delivery Receipts (DR) and invoices
• Process replenishment request
• Maintain purchasing records and documents
• Resolve delivery and order issues
