Put Away Driver

Operate forklifts, reach trucks, or other material handling equipment to move pallets and products to assigned storage locations

Accurately scan and verify product using RF scanners or warehouse management system (WMS)

Place inventory in correct bin/slot locations according to warehouse layout and storage guidelines

Inspect pallets and products for damage prior to and during put away; report discrepancies or damage immediately

Maintain accurate inventory records by confirming location transfers in the WMS

Follow proper stacking, weight limits, and safety protocols to prevent product damage or workplace injuries

Conduct pre- and post-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance issues

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety standards

Collaborate with receiving, inventory control, and picking teams to ensure smooth warehouse operations

Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Prior warehouse experience required; put away or forklift experience strongly preferred

Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification through company training)

Basic math and reading skills for order accuracy and inventory tracking

Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) a plus

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and operate machinery for extended periods

Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures (including refrigerated/freezer environments, if applicable)

The Warehouse Put Away Driver is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, storing, and organizing incoming products and inventory within the warehouse.

Mental Functions: Decisions may affect a work unit or area within a department. May contribute to business and operational decisions that affect the department. This position performs a variety of routine duties within established policies and procedures or by referral to supervisor's guidelines.

The base salary range for this position in Ontario, CA is $18.00-$20.00/hour.
